Recently, STERIAL Professional & Premium Air Purifiers, the innovative devices for the reduction of the microbial and viral air load indoors, were installed at the facilities of the National Center for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), in Thessaloniki.
The innovative device, developed by the University of Patras in Greece, GLM Hellas and ALUMIL, plays a key role in the protection against the spread of viruses and microbes and from now on will be in use in CERTH. It is worth noting that STERIAL is a unique device that shows an excellent performance in terms of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 disease (within the first 15 minutes of its operation eliminates up to 70,62% of the virus and in 60 minutes up to 99,40%), as it constitutes an additional sanitary shield against a potential spread.
The decision of the National Center for Research & Technology to be equipped with the STERIAL Professional & Premium Air Purifier devices will significantly contribute to the improvement of the air quality in its indoor spaces, providing enhanced protection to employees and visitors.
